Logitech launches a pair of premium wireless mice

Logitech has announced two new wireless mice with mobile productivity in mind, but what is certainly more impressive is its new multi-desktop navigation software.

Starting with the hardware, Logitech introduced a pair of its latest flagship mice, the Logitech MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S. Both mice have enhanced DarkfieldHigh Precision tracking, which offers a maximum tracking resolution of 4,000 DPI. And that's even in glass, typically the most difficult surface type for optical and laser sensors to work with.

Like Logitech game mice, the MX-master series can be calibrated on any surface for fast and precise cursor movements. Both mice also come in a new blue or white color, in addition to the original black and copper color scheme of their predecessors.

In terms of battery life Logitech classifies MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S will run for 70 hours continuously, almost doubling the battery life of 40 hours of previous generation peripherals.

The Logitech MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S will arrive in June for $ 99 (approximately £ 80, AU $ 130) and $ 79 (approximately £ 60, AU $ 110), respectively.

Go with the flow

Along with a new pair of badge mice, Logitech has also introduced a new piece of multitasking software to work across separate computers even if they run on different operating systems. Thanks to this new piece of cross-team control software, users can navigate through three different teams with the MX Master 2S or MX Anywhere 2S.

In addition to moving the cursor between systems, Logitech Flow also allows users to copy and paste text or even transfer images with a few mouse clicks.

The only problem with Logitech Flow is that it must be installed on all computers. Logitech Flow will also work with some other peripherals, including the M720 Triathlon, M590 Silent and M585 mice, as well as the K780, K380, K375S and MK850 keyboards.

The Redmi Note 4 includes a 5.5 "Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS LCD screen on the front, covered with curved protective glass. There are three memory variants on offer, which include 2GB of RAM with 32GB of storage, 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. All variants come with an option to extend the storage of microSD cards supporting up to 128 GB.

Gigabyte gives global release date to its gaming laptops

We were a little surprised when Gigabyte announced that it is an ultra-compact Aero 15 gaming notebook one month ahead of Computex this year, but after seeing the impressive range of laptops renewed performance games, it makes sense to release it a little earlier.

In addition to introducing the latest iteration of the P57 (v7) in Computex 2017, Gigabyte unveiled a new P56XT portable gaming-oriented performance. With a reasonably conservative black plastic case design and soft orange trim on the edge of the keyboard, this notebook clearly focuses on performance.

Equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor, an 8GB Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, this unit will have no negative effect. The new P56XT's 15.6-inch form factor will also contain a super-fast M2 PCIe connected SSD and an optional secondary hard drive with capacities up to 2TB.

This unit will also feature Intel's new 40GB / s Thunderbolt 3 connection that can carry power and 4K media. The P56XT will be released in late June in Australia, Germany, France, Taiwan, the UK and the US.

Innovative

Gigabyte also showed the upgrades of its Saber notebooks of value range that included the Saber 15, 17 and the slightly different Saber Pro 15. This last one updates the Sabre 15 GTX 1050 / Ti GPU to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, while Maintaining the i7-770HQ CPU, M2 PCIe SSD, DDR4 RAM and Full HD 15.6-inch wide IPS color gamut.

To further distinguish the slightly superior pedigree of the Saber Pro 15, it also features a brushed black metal finish as opposed to the sturdy plastic that appears on regular Saber units. The Saber Pro 15 is expected to be available along with the P56XT in June.

Samsung accidentally announces the Galaxy J5 (2017) and J7 (2017) smartphones on the Korean website

Samsung has accidentally announced the fact that the Galaxy J5 (2017) and J7 (2017) smartphones will come this year. The "ad" appeared on a Samsung website dedicated to the Samsung application of Samsung. Devices that have not yet been released are mentioned as compatible devices with the application.

The announcement was first reported by SamMobile, which notes that the 2017 variants of the J5 and J7 have been waiting for a while now.

The Samsung Galaxy J smartphone series makes up the company's affordable line of smartphones. A filtered video of the J7 has also appeared.

The video shows a phone with a unique arrangement for the antennas, a curvilinear shape, almost ovoid, a single rear camera and flash in the back and a physical start button in the front. The device also seems to be USB-C compatible. It is assumed that the rear camera is a 13 MP unit with an aperture f / 1.9.

The screen is said to be a Full HD panel of 5.5 inches (1920 × 1080).

The video, which is in Korean, explains that the phone is powered by a 1.6 GHz processor, Exynos 7870 which is compatible with a Mali-T830 graphics processor and 3 GB of RAM. A 3,600 mAh battery provides the juice.

It is said that the internal storage is limited to 16 GB, although this can be extended up to 256 GB through a microSD card.

As with the Samsung Galaxy A5, the speaker has, for whatever reason, moved to the right side and is placed above the power button.

The specifications of the J5 have not yet been revealed.

Apple opens first official store in Southeast Asia

Apple opened its first store in Southeast Asia in Singapore on Saturday, drawing hundreds of excited fans to the two-story luxury venue in the city's upscale shopping district. The new store, easily distinguished by its iconic glass façade, is expected to be one of Apple's most popular stores in the world, according to the technology giant.

Goods like the iPhone and MacBook were strategically placed on the screen on the spacious first floor, while the upper level acted as a classroom for customers to participate in hands-on sessions. Hundreds of shoppers camped in anticipation of the launch, while more than a thousand crowded into the store shortly after the doors opened, an AFP reporter observed.

First in line was Xiang Jiaxin, a twenty-five-year-old Chinese Chinese who worked in Macao and who had queued for more than 12 hours overnight and planned a vacation to Singapore especially to coincide with the opening.

"I am very happy and excited to be part of this. I have participated in official store openings in Macao, Guangzhou and Nanjing," he told AFP. Apple, which has a staggering cash of $ 256.8 billion, celebrated its 40th anniversary last year. The legend of the Silicon Valley emerged from the garage of Steve Jobs to reshape modern life with trend gadgets.

Most of its profits come from the iPhone, which faces increasingly tough competition in a saturated market. The technology giant has nearly 500 stores worldwide with more than one million visitors a day. Apart from Singapore, its Asian stores are located in Hong Kong, China and Japan. A regional transportation, business and financial center, Singapore attracted 16.4 million visitors last year.

Apple iPhone 8 is expected to start from Rs 56,000, Rs 69,000 for the most expensive model: Analyst

While many would be tired of seeing render after making the surface of Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone online, there is something more interesting that appeared today. That would be the price of Apple's next iPhone 8, which UBS analyst Steven Milunovich predicts will start from a not-so-expensive $ 870 (roughly Rs 56,000).

First informed by Business Insider, the new price predictions were revealed from a note sent to investors.

In the past, there have been similar predictions that Apple's tenth anniversary iPhone would start from a $ 1000 (about Rs 64,000 for the 128GB model). Milunovich has changed its predictions from an earlier $ 1,000 to $ 870 that should calm down Apple enthusiasts. The analyst predicts that Apple would price its top-of-the-line iPhone 8 model (with 256GB internal storage) at $ 1,070 (approximately Rs 69,000).

Adding to the above statements, the UBS analyst also said in a detailed note that the iPhone 8 model would account for 45 percent of iPhone sales in the next year, which means that most iPhone users will gather for The iPhone 8, instead of the usual IPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus models.

It is wise to keep in mind that these price predictions by analysts are based on modules and components that will be included in the smartphone. Therefore, the actual cost will be higher than the expected prices.

Add to this local taxes and duties in countries like India, and the final price may be much higher than analysts predicted.

Samsung recently launched its iconic Galaxy S8 and S8 + smartphones in India. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is priced at Rs 57,900, while the Galaxy S8 + larger is priced at Rs 64,900.

With last year's iPhone 7 Plus topping out at Rs 92,000 for the 256GB model. So, bearing this in mind along with the full face OLED screen and dual cameras as standard on the iPhone 8, we should expect the price tags for the same to start from an Rs 80,000 at least.

New Health Tablet Can Help Patients With Heart Failure Illness

A new e-health tool in the form of a pre-programmed tablet can help patients with heart failure manage their illness, including doses of the drugs, say researchers.

The tool called OPTILOGG provides education on heart failure, helps patients control their weight and indicates when to contact the clinic, according to research presented at EuroHeartCare 2017 in Jonkoping, Sweden.

Heart failure is a serious condition in which the heart does not pump blood around the body as well as it should.

Not enough blood gets to the body, causing fatigue. The blood recedes waiting to enter the heart, leading to fluid accumulation in the legs and abdomen and fluid in the lungs (congestion).

Patients with heart failure are prescribed diuretics that act on the kidneys to produce more urine, which reduces fluid retention and congestion.

Patients are advised to control their weight, since a rapid loss may be a sign that the diuretic dose is too high, while a sudden gain may indicate fluid retention.

OPTILOGG is a pre-programmed tablet attached to a scale that provides education of heart failure, records body weight and symptoms, and titrates diuretics.

If the tool detects deterioration of heart failure, the patient is instructed to increase the dose of diuretics.

If the weight gain is above a predetermined range, patients should contact the heart failure clinic.

Patients can use OPTILOGG as needed without pressing any button and take less than 30 seconds a day, researchers said.

"Approximately 60 percent of patients with heart failure receive treatment and follow-up in primary care," said lead author Maria Liljeroos of the Malarsjukhuset Hospital in Eskilstuna, Sweden.

"Providing education to increase self-care is often a challenge in primary care because of the lack of experience about heart failure and time," said Liljero.

The study included 32 patients from four primary care heart failure clinics. Participants were 65 on average and 31% were women.

The researchers found that 94 percent of patients used OPTILOGG as expected. The nurses reported that the introduction of the tool did not increase their workload.

"Patient self-care behaviors improved by 10.5 points or 37 percent when they used OPTILOGG." The nurses said that patients felt more secure and were more committed to taking better care of themselves when they used the tool. The nurses, "said Liljero.

"Our study shows that the introduction of OPTILOGG into primary care is feasible and has the potential to help patients with heart failure to manage their condition," he said.
