Apple iPhone 8 is expected to start from Rs 56,000, Rs 69,000 for the most expensive model: Analyst

While many would be tired of seeing render after making the surface of Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone online, there is something more interesting that appeared today. That would be the price of Apple's next iPhone 8, which UBS analyst Steven Milunovich predicts will start from a not-so-expensive $ 870 (roughly Rs 56,000).

First informed by Business Insider, the new price predictions were revealed from a note sent to investors.

In the past, there have been similar predictions that Apple's tenth anniversary iPhone would start from a $ 1000 (about Rs 64,000 for the 128GB model). Milunovich has changed its predictions from an earlier $ 1,000 to $ 870 that should calm down Apple enthusiasts. The analyst predicts that Apple would price its top-of-the-line iPhone 8 model (with 256GB internal storage) at $ 1,070 (approximately Rs 69,000).

Adding to the above statements, the UBS analyst also said in a detailed note that the iPhone 8 model would account for 45 percent of iPhone sales in the next year, which means that most iPhone users will gather for The iPhone 8, instead of the usual IPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus models.

It is wise to keep in mind that these price predictions by analysts are based on modules and components that will be included in the smartphone. Therefore, the actual cost will be higher than the expected prices.

Add to this local taxes and duties in countries like India, and the final price may be much higher than analysts predicted.

Samsung recently launched its iconic Galaxy S8 and S8 + smartphones in India. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is priced at Rs 57,900, while the Galaxy S8 + larger is priced at Rs 64,900.

With last year's iPhone 7 Plus topping out at Rs 92,000 for the 256GB model. So, bearing this in mind along with the full face OLED screen and dual cameras as standard on the iPhone 8, we should expect the price tags for the same to start from an Rs 80,000 at least.
