Gigabyte gives global release date to its gaming laptops

We were a little surprised when Gigabyte announced that it is an ultra-compact Aero 15 gaming notebook one month ahead of Computex this year, but after seeing the impressive range of laptops renewed performance games, it makes sense to release it a little earlier.

In addition to introducing the latest iteration of the P57 (v7) in Computex 2017, Gigabyte unveiled a new P56XT portable gaming-oriented performance. With a reasonably conservative black plastic case design and soft orange trim on the edge of the keyboard, this notebook clearly focuses on performance.

Equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor, an 8GB Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, this unit will have no negative effect. The new P56XT's 15.6-inch form factor will also contain a super-fast M2 PCIe connected SSD and an optional secondary hard drive with capacities up to 2TB.

This unit will also feature Intel's new 40GB / s Thunderbolt 3 connection that can carry power and 4K media. The P56XT will be released in late June in Australia, Germany, France, Taiwan, the UK and the US.

Innovative

Gigabyte also showed the upgrades of its Saber notebooks of value range that included the Saber 15, 17 and the slightly different Saber Pro 15. This last one updates the Sabre 15 GTX 1050 / Ti GPU to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, while Maintaining the i7-770HQ CPU, M2 PCIe SSD, DDR4 RAM and Full HD 15.6-inch wide IPS color gamut.

To further distinguish the slightly superior pedigree of the Saber Pro 15, it also features a brushed black metal finish as opposed to the sturdy plastic that appears on regular Saber units. The Saber Pro 15 is expected to be available along with the P56XT in June.
