Smartron and Sachin Tendulkar launch srt.phone, is priced at Rs 12,999




The first smartphone Sachin Tendulkar of Indian technology brand Smartron was launched today in India. Called srt.phone, the handset was revealed by the former cricket star and the brand ambassador. Its price starts at Rs 12,999.

The Smartron srt.phone features a 5.5 inch (1920 x 1080 pixel) Full HD IPS LCD screen with 401 ppi protection and Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, comes in two configurations Of fixed storage, 32 GB and 64 GB. Both variants come with 4 GB of RAM. Smartron also offers unlimited cloud storage with its trunk platform.

As for the cameras, there is a 13 MP unit on the back with autofocus phase detection, f / 2.0 aperture and an LED flash. At the front there is a 5 MP camera with a f / 2.2 aperture. The phone comes with Android 7.1.1 nugget with a stock Android user interface along with Microsoft Office applications.
The battery has a capacity of 3.000 mAh and comes with the Quick Charge 2.0 support through the USB port type C.

The phone has a price of Rs 12,999 for the variant of 32 GB, while the variant of 64 GB has a price of Rs 13,999. The phone will be available through Flipkart and will be offered with special limited edition Sachin Tendulkar covers.
