Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sale on Mi.com Store and Flipkart at 31st May 12 noon

Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi Note 4 will go on sale on May 31 at 12:00. The Chinese smartphone maker will sell the smartphone in Flipkart and Mi Store. If you are interested in buying the 4 note then you can use websites as well as mobile applications for both e-commerce platforms to try luck during the sale. One thing to keep in mind here is that the servers on both platforms are hammered as soon as the sale starts and it is relatively difficult to book the smartphone online.

The Redmi Note 4 includes a 5.5 "Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS LCD screen on the front, covered with curved protective glass. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor that sounds like a step down from the Snapdragon 650, but is said to be more energy efficient. There are three memory variants on offer, which include 2GB of RAM with 32GB of storage, 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. All variants come with an option to extend the storage of microSD cards supporting up to 128 GB.

There is a new 13 MP camera on the back with PDAF (autofocus phase detection) and a dual tone LED flash, while on the front there is a 5 MP camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM (SIM card slot), 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS with GLONASS, infrared sensor and microUSB port. Rounding it all up is a fingerprint scanner on the back and a 4,100 mAh battery to provide the juice.

The company has launched the Redmi 4A and the Redmi 4 after the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 earlier this year. Both the smartphones that were launched after the launch of the note 4 are directed to different price points and different audiences.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Sales Availabla on Flipcart Today

The expected Xiaomi budget smartphone, the Redmi Note 4 was announced in India last week. Unlike the Chinese version, the Indian version gets a new Snapdragon chipset along with some other changes on the Redmi Note 3. The phone will be available for purchase from today exclusively on the online shopping portal Flipkart. It is an open sale from 12pm. The phone comes in three variants, including 2 GB RAM + 16 GB variant, priced at R 9,999, 3GB + 32GB for Rs 10,999 and 4GB + 64GB for Rs 12,999.

Of course, the 4GB RAM variant is an obvious choice, but offering three variants is a good strategy. As for the features of the phone comes with an octa-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 clock at 2 GHz with a 14nm manufacturing process that also features an Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone offers an option to expand memory with a MicroSD card up to 256 GB with the hybrid SIM card tray.

Other features include a 5.5-inch IPS Full HD LCD screen with a 3.5D protective glass on top, a 13MP f / 2.0 CMOS sensor on the back with a 77-pixel wide-angle lens and Focus Detection Phase PDAF) and a dual-tone LED flash. At the front there is a 5MP CMOS sensor with f / 2.0 aperture. As for the connectivity options that supports 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, GLONASS, micro-USB 2.0 with OTG and an infrared sensor. There is also a fingerprint reader on the back and a 4,100 mAh battery. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top.

The smartphone will be offered with gold, silver and gray options, while a special option of matt black color will be available next month.
