Launched Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, marks the 20th anniversary of the original video games




The Japanese gaming giant Nintendo launched Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, the latest games in the series, in Japan and the United States, four months after the launch of Pokémon Go.

The launch of the seventh-generation multimillion-dollar franchise, which has not released new games in the series since October 2013, coincides with the 20th anniversary of the release of the original Pokémon video games and follows the great success of Pokémon Go, Downloaded more than 500 million times.

The new games, designed for Nintendo's 3DS gaming console, will be released in Europe on November 23 and Nintendo has already shipped 10 million copies worldwide, EFE quoted the company as saying in a statement.
