BSNL will offer 2GB of data per day with unlimited calls within the network, for Rs 339 for 28 days of validity



To counter the threat of Reliance Jio, state-owned telecoms firm BSNL launched a new plan Thursday offering 2 GB of 3G data per day and unlimited calls within its network for Rs 339.

"The benefits that the customer will receive under the Combo STV of Rs 339 are unlimited calls on the BSNL network and unlimited data with a fair usage policy of 2GB per day with validity of 28 days," BSNL said. a statement.

Offer is limited for 90 days. Reliance Jio offers 1GB of data per day (rpt) per day and unlimited calls to the entire network for free until March 31st.

Effective April 1, Reliance Jio customers opting for the Jio Prime service will receive data and unlimited calls through March 31, 2018, for a registration fee of Rs 99 and Rs 303 per month.

BSNL said that data of 2GB per day is one of the best in the industry.

"We are committed to providing affordable and efficient services to all segments of our loyal mobile customers. We offer the best prices to our customers taking into account the current trend of the Indian telecommunications industry," said BSNL Director of Consumer Mobility RK Mittal.

BSNL customers under the new scheme will also receive 25 minutes of free call to another network every day and after that they will be charged 25 paisa for a one minute phone call
