LG G6 officially launched in India at Rs 51,990,to be Available on Amazon from April 25th.



LG has launched its new smartphone, the G6, in India. LG G6 will be available on online and offline channels beginning April 25 for Rs 51,990 along with launch offers to attract potential customers. LG partnered with Reliance Jio to offer 100GB of additional 4G data through March 2018. This is independent of the 10GB additional data that users will get in each Rs 309 recharge. LG G6 will be available in Amazon India with a special rebate offer of 10,000 rupees for users who will buy the smartphone on April 25 using HDFC or SBI cards.

LG India is offering Rs 5,000 in cash for customers who use HDFC or SBI cards to buy the smartphone on Amazon. LG G6 will be available in Black, White and Platinum colors with no difference in price. The company is also offering an extra Rs 2,000 off as a "pre-booking special offer" along with a 50 percent discount on Tone Active + HBS-A100 along with the G6. Presented for the first time at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​it is the successor of G5 last year. However, this time the company has moved away from the modular design strategy.

The main highlight of the smartphone is the screen that spans the entire front leaving really slim bezels. Called as FullVision screen, it offers an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The panel measures 5.7 inches and offers QuadHD + resolution (2880 x 1440 pixels). According to LG, the focus was on providing a large display phone that is capable of being used with one hand. LG G6 will also be the first Dolby Vision compatible smartphone. Apart from this, it will support HDR 10 as well.

Other features of the phone include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, which is the next-generation flagship along with 4GB of RAM. In terms of storage, you get 64GB of integrated storage with the option to expand storage using a microSD card. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat along with the LG skin above it called UX 6 and it will come with the Google Assistant.



There is a dual camera configuration on the back with two 13MP rear cameras, one of which has a wide angle lens where like the other it shows the normal view. There is also a 5 MP front camera facing the camera which has a 100 degree field of view for wide angle selfies. The regular 13 MP rear camera comes with an f / 1.8 aperture and supports optical image stabilization, while the 13 MP wide-angle camera comes with an f / 2.4 aperture without image stabilization.

A fingerprint scanner on the back, a 3,300 mAh battery and USB Type C port with quick charge support round out the main features of the smartphone.
