Now make calls with Windows 10 Application Messenger

giant social media Facebook has launched a new update of its Messenger application that allows Windows 10 now - like Android and iOS - users to make voice and video calls, according to a media report.

So far, a user had to leave Messenger for Windows 10 and go to Facebook.com Messenger.com or to make voice calls or video.

The phone icon in the updated Messenger is in the upper right corner of the screen in the Windows application 10. A talk turns green when the other person is currently active, VentureBeat reported.

When a call is initiated, the application asks the user if the "calls using Wi-Fi or data plan." This is a bit strange because a computer with Windows 10 does not have a data plan.

"Currently, the Windows Phone application has no voice and video call," a Microsoft spokesperson, was quoted as saying.

According to the report, in July, Facebook said that 10 percent of all Voice over IP (VoIP) calls went through the Messenger.
